Committee Volunteers Needed
If you are looking for a way to be more involved with the Community, consider joining one of the following Committees:
- Common Area Enhancement Committee
- EV Committee
- Owner Maintenance Committee
- Social Committee
- Financial Review Committee (expertise in accounting recommended)
For more information, please contact Management email@example.com.
In accordance with the Association’s Rules and Regulations and Fire Code, Section 308.1.4, “no propane tank may exceed one pound (16 ounces) per unit.” Please make sure that your propane gas grills and other open flame devices do not exceed the one pound (16 ounces) per unit limit.
Organics Recycling – Food Waste Collection
Organics Recycling and Food Waste Collection has begun. Residents will need to deposit the food waste in the bin located in the P1 trash room. Per our vendor Waste Management, compostable bags are not permitted. Please refrain from using compostable bags as the contents of the bin will be considered “contaminated”.
While Alicante is a dog friendly building, please manage your pets so that they do not diminish others’ enjoyment of Alicante. This includes cleaning up pet accidents and taking the necessary measures to limit barking. Per the Association’s governing documents, pet-related violations can lead to fines. Please show respect to your neighbors and help keep Alicante a pet-friendly building.
Breaking Down Boxes
When discarding boxes in the recycling bins, please be sure to break down the boxes first as they take up a lot of room.
Get It Done San Diego
You may want to install the free Android or iOS app on your mobile device so that you can report neighborhood concerns like potholes, tree hazards, side walk repairs, etc. For more information, see this webpage: https://www.sandiego.gov/get-it-done
In the event you change your email address or phone number, please remember to advise management. This allows us to continue to communicate important reminders to you!
If you are renting out your unit, you are required to provide Management with a copy of your tenant’s lease.
All moves and deliveries must be scheduled with Management at least a week in advance. A general rule of thumb is if it takes more than one person to move it, then a move must be scheduled. The reason is simply to protect the building from sustaining damage during a move. Please be advised that if you are found to have had an unscheduled move, you will be subject to hearing and fine. If you are unsure of the scope of your move or would like to schedule a move, please contact the General Manager.
If you are thinking about making a change in your unit that would require architectural committee review and approval, please plan well in advance. Per the Architectural Guidelines, the Committee is allotted 30-45 days for review. It is also recommended to wait before setting a schedule with your contractor until an approval has been awarded.
Face coverings are recommended by the County of San Diego anytime you are in an indoor space.
