| To the Owners and Tenants of Alicante, Board Meeting The July Board of Directors Meeting will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 in the Community Room and via Zoom with Open Session beginning at 6:00pm. Moves/Deliveries All moves and deliveries must be scheduled with Management at least a week in advance. A general rule of thumb is if it takes more than one person to move it, then a move must be scheduled. The reason is simply to protect the building from sustaining damage during a move. Please be advised that if you are found to have had an unscheduled move, you will be subject to hearing and fine. If you are unsure of the scope of your move or would like to schedule a move, please contact the General Manager. Parking Be advised that the Association has additional parking spots for rent. Interested? Please contact General Manager Hugo Munoz at hmunoz@actionlife.com for more information. EV Rates July 1, 2026 Effective July 1, 2026, Alicante will be updating its charging rates, and introducing time-of-use (TOU) pricing on all 30 EVCSs, inclusive of both the 5 shared EVCSs, and the 25 exclusive-use EVCSs as follows: Peak hours (6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.): $0.40 per kWh Off-peak hours (10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.): $0.35 per kWh SDG&E periodically adjusts its TOU rates, and we will monitor those changes and make updates to our pricing when appropriate. Recycling Great job Alicante residents! Since the installation of the new recycling education signs by the Common Area Enhancement Committee there is substantially less contamination in the recycling bins on the P1 garage level. Please continue to flatten your cardboard boxes and keep all plastic bags out of the recycling bins. Both of these actions help prevent fines from our waste hauler. For more information on what should go in the recycling bin please see the attached flyer from the City of San Diego. Did you Know…? Did you know that if you have a ceiling fan in your residence that you should be running it counter-clockwise in the warmer months to help cool your room? Running them clockwise in the winter pulls cold air up which warms up the room and running them counterclockwise in the summer pushes cool air down which cools the room. |
